Magna Dell’Angelo is a photographer born in Barcelona, Spain, living in Kyoto, Japan.
Her work focuses on portraiture and develops through continuous displacement, where movement becomes a way to gather the experience of time.
It explores identity and embodied perception, translating touch and thermoception into visual form, with experimental analogue printing processes integrated into current practice.
Recent exhibitions include Living in a Shoebox (Antwerp, 2026); Do You Like Me? Yes, and You? Yes, Yes. (Milan, 2025); 7780________X (Madrid, 2024).
Her photobook Perfume was selected as part of KYOTOGRAPHIE PHOTOBOOK FAIR 2026, a rare institutional appearance for a work usually distributed through the streets, left in public spaces for whoever comes across the copies.
